With the Autumn leaves decorating the landscape, it’s that time of year when we start craving some warming comfort foods. From Monday 6th November sees the start of British Game Week and our Executive Head Chef Lee Cooper has been busy creating some amazing seasonal dishes for all game lovers and may even tempt those who that haven’t tried game before.
With locally sourced quality ingredients at the forefront of our ethos, Lee has truly excelled with these beautiful dishes, giving a modern twist for all the food connoisseurs amongst you.
Lee loves to surprise and delight and the Smoked Venison Croquette is the perfect appetiser. For the more traditional, the Game Gala Pie is a firm favourite and the Essex Venison Loin dressed with pumpkin and blueberries offers a harvest of flavours to celebrate the season.
Game is one of the most healthy meats to eat, minimal fat and full in flavour, it truly is the taste of the Autumn in the country!
