Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Celebrations

Celebrate with Us…

On 6th February this year Her Majesty The Queen became the first British Monarch to celebrate a Platinum Jubilee, marking 70 years of service to the people of the United Kingdom, the Realms and the Commonwealth.

Whilst the British weather saw our Royal Afternoon Tea on the Lawn, taken in our Classics Suite,  this did not dampen the Bedford Lodge spirit. With a most memorable event, which sold out quickly,  you can still enjoy the menu throughout the month of June in Squires Restaurant or the sun terrace.  If you would prefer a more formal dining experience, our Chef has produced a Jubilee Menu which can be taken in our Squires Restaurant and runs along side our seasonal menu.

Royal Afternoon Tea 

Join us for a very Royal Afternoon Tea in our Squires Restaurant or on our terrace overlooking our beautiful rose gardens. Available throughout the month of June, this celebratory menu has many subtle nods to Her Majesty The Queen. Enjoy a selection of traditional finger sandwiches and baked savouries, followed by our delicious warm homemade scones and a selection of freshly baked cakes and pastries. Indulge in classics such as Victoria sponge cake, named after the Queen herself and Bombe Glacée Royale, a mini version of one of Her Majesty’s favourite desserts. View the full menu here.

Full Afternoon Tea with a Selection of Teas or Cafetière of Coffee £23.00 per person.

Champagne Afternoon Tea including a Glass of Moet & Chandon Brut Imperial £34.50 per person.

Squires Jubilee Menu

Join us in our two AA rosette Squires Restaurant between 30th May and 5th June as we serve a delicious, quintessentially English 3 course menu in celebration of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
