What better way to spend a sunny afternoon than enjoying a full afternoon tea on our beautiful terrace overlooking our stunning gardens, or to sip a glass of chilled Champagne whilst relaxing in the shade of our beautiful hotel.

On cold winter days you can relax in front of the roaring log fire, which is one of the original features of the hotel dating from 18th century.

Every effort is made to source our produce locally in a bid to reduce the company’s carbon footprint, minimise our ‘food miles’ and impact on the environment. It makes sense that the food on your plate has had less distance to travel… it’s fresher, tastier and the vitamin content is largely unaffected.

We believe in supporting the local economy and strengthening the lifeblood of our local communities. We are passionate about supporting our loyal suppliers… and it’s great to be able to say to you, the guest, that the sausages you had for breakfast were supplied less than a mile from the hotel.
