Newmarket Open Weekend

The Newmarket Open Weekend gives visitors the unique opportunity to go behind the scenes at British horseracing’s HQ and enjoy two fantastic days of fun, food and drink.

The Newmarket Open Weekend is on Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 September 2017. Race goers and food lovers are equally catered for thanks to the Food & Drink Festival, which takes place over both days (10am-5pm) and boasts over 50 bespoke stalls.  Placed right at the heart of the action in Newmarket’s town centre it brings a festival feel to this racing town.

Celebrity chefs, including Theo Randall will be on hand with top tips for the kitchen, and top wine writer, Oz Clarke will help you distinguish plonk from pinot on Sunday and Sophie Grigson will take to the stage on Saturday to share some of her best culinary delights!

With over 30 stalls for visitors to savour delicious wares from across the region, including bespoke producers, tasty deli-style exhibitors, street food and homewares.

Over the past four years the Newmarket Open Weekend has raised a fantastic £225,000 for local charities.  This years chosen charities are; The Racing Welfare Newmarket Housing Project, the Newmarket Day Centre and the Newmarket Academy.
