British Pie Week - It can't be disputed that the pie is a staple in some of the best British food we have. Why? Because they are traditional.
Sometimes on a really cold night all you want to do is tuck in to a lovely steak pie. Followed by an apple pie. Mmm...
Squires Restaurant at Bedford Lodge Hotel is participating in this tip of the hat to a culinary favourite with a menu full of traditional pies with a modern twist. And for something to try at home, our Executive chef James has produced a mouth-watering recipe for a creamy chicken, leek and ham pie.

Roasted Chicken, Leek, Ham Hock & Grain Mustard Pie
with Peppered Puff Pastry

Salmon, Smoked Haddock & Shellfish Pie
with Herb & Cheddar Potato
