Bedford Lodge Hotel wins EADT business award for customer service

eadt-awards-192Staff at the Bedford Lodge Hotel and Spa are celebrating another success after winning the Customer Care business award at the East Anglian Daily Times’ Business Awards.

This is the second time in recent weeks that the hotel staff have had reason to raise a glass to their success. They also picked up a top accolade from popular review website TripAdvisor for consistently receiving a positive rating from reviewers.

They celebrated their latest win on 10 July at a gala event in Trinity Park, Ipswich.

In their summary of why they picked the hotel, the judges said: “Customer care is the core mantra for the business and chief executive Noel Byrne leads by example, bringing best in class benchmarking to all areas of the organisation.

Lt-014-business-Awards-2014-14-1024x765We have been fortunate enough to have extremely supportive owners who continue to invest in the property and staff in a meaningful way. This allows us to give our customer’s our best.

“Daily briefings with all departments, a close eye on customer journeys and a separation of internet provision for customers and the company (to ensure first-class access for visitors), combined with consistent and continuous customer surveys across all areas of the offering, plus mystery shopping and other initiatives, are all designed to ensure an established and embedded customer service.”

Noel said: “It is a wonderful outcome. We put a huge amount of effort into ensuring that our visitors have a great experience from the moment they enter our grounds to the second they leave.

“We know we have a good product and strive to constantly maintain and improve this. All good feedback is cause for celebration, but this award is the icing on the cake. Thank you to all the team who have and continue to make our guests’ experience top class.”
