Dance Studio at Bedford Lodge in Newmarket

Our dance studio is now open, giving you even more reason to get fit and fabulous this year! All classes will be at our studio in Newmarket, Suffolk.

Classes on offer include spin, zumba and combat classes along with yoga, pilates, legs/bum/tums and total body workouts. Our friendly instructors have all been personally auditioned by celebrity personal trainer Niki Wibrow. Niki has trained with Radio One DJ Sara Cox, Patsy Palmer and many other high profile personalities, delivering the ultimate in fitness solutions.

Fully air-conditioned, the studio boasts a state-of-the-art sound system waiting to pump up the volume in your bid for a brighter, fitter and fabber 2013! 

Open to the public, gym members and residents, dance classes in our Newmarket studio will begin bright and early at 7am so you can take a class before work - what better way to start the day! Mid-morning classes are scheduled for 10.30am and evening dance classes will commence at 6pm.

Timetables will be reviewed and refreshed on a quarterly basis, with our first timetable being 'Winter 2013'. 

Prices as follows:

  • Gym Members:  £3 per class
  • Residents: £5 per class
  • General Public: £7.50 per class

DEFINITION OF CLASSES

Zumba Dance Classes

An infectious, fun, vibrant dance class set to a background of Latin music. This class combines easy to follow Latin inspired dance moves with aerobics. Designed for all levels of fitness.

Indoor Studio Cycling

A high energy studio cycling experience. Bringing the concept of outdoor cycling indoors! This class is designed to improve your stamina, endurance and cardiovascular fitness.  This class is of a general level.

Pilates Classes

A mind/body workout focusing on core stability with an emphasis on strengthening the abdominal and back region. This class will develop your flexibility and endurance while improving your posture and correcting muscle imbalances. A general level class.

Hatha Yoga Classes

This hatha yoga class will focus on the correct way to breath and perform various physical yoga movements which will help to bring balance, strength and a sense of well being to the entire body. A class designed for all levels of fitness.

Total Body Workout Classes

A full body conditioning workout combining cardio with toning segments. Designed to strengthen and tone the entire body. A general level class. This class may use a variety of studio equipment.

Combat Workout Classes

This high energy non impact workout uses martial arts as its inspiration. A full body workout blending aerobics with punches, kicks, blocks and strikes. A general level class.
