| Duty Manager | | We are looking for a Duty Manager to join our team to report directly to the Operations Manager. The ideal candidate must have a friendly and enthusiastic approach whilst remaining professional at all times. Strong communication skills are essential to liaise with all Heads of Department and guests on a regular basis. You must be able to lead by example with the ability to motivate people around you. You will be expected to manage your duties and take on further responsibility when higher management is not present whilst ensuring that a high level of guest service is displayed at all times
Duties include:
• Involvement in all departments as and when required
• To assist the Operations Manager with overall responsibility of all financial procedures
such as, cash handling, departmental stock control and general departmental security
• To be accountable for the smooth and efficient running of the hotel
• Check Conference details for the day and check all Conference/Function rooms are
ready for the day
• In the absence of relevant department heads see in deliveries, check and sign in
• Monitoring the level of business throughout the day taking any action deemed necessary
to maintain standards of service
• Tour the hotel regularly to ensure that standards of cleanliness are being maintained at
all times
• Will be working on a rota basis so will include early mornings or late evenings

| Fitness Instructor | | We are looking for a full time Fitness Instructor to help assist with the efficient operation and development of The Edge Health and Fitness Club.
Duties will include delivering fitness assessments, health checks and exercise programmes as well as working on the Leisure Reception desk and cleaning of the equipment.
